Throughout the course of the year, AAPIA hosts a number of events designed to promote communication, education and a sense of community amongst its members. Such events may include luncheons, dinners, seminars, training sessions, meet-and-greets, golf outings, sporting events, and much more.

AAPIA President will attend NAIC Meetings in 2011 in the following locations:

Austin,Texas,

Washington DC,  

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

January 15th, 2011 President of AAPIA will speak to 200 Public Insurance Adjusters in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania at Penn's Landing on the value of being a member of your state and national association.

January 21, 2011 President of AAPIA will attend the Final Advisory Panel Meeting in Mandeville, Louisiana to try and see new language considered that will allow a Public Insurance Adjuster to "negotiate" on behalf of their clients/policyholders.

January 24, 25, 26 AAPIA will attend the annual Windstorm Convention in Houston, Texas. AAPIA will have an exhibit booth educating the attendees on the many services a PIA has to offer consumers.

AAPIA President Gene Veno attended an important legislative strategic meeting in Tampa Florida on behalf of many citizens worried about rising homeowners insurance rates that have increased the past 5 years.

Philadelphia Meeting a success August 25th, 2010

Veno addressed a large gathering of Public Insurance Adjusters at the Radisson in Trevose Pennsylvania - Veno spoke on the value of belonging to an association - and the importance of staying involved with www.aapia.org as they advocate on behalf of the profession nationally!
